since November 2012 Daniele is a faculty member of Boston University – Center for Digital Imaging and Art in the Audio Production Department.
Daniele is very happy to teach, inspire and prepare the students with a superior music education that will prepare them for meaningful careers in the profession.

31st EVVY Awards wins the 2013 EMMY – Academy of Television Art & Sciences – College TV Award.

I am honored to announce that the 31st EVVY Awards has won the 2013 EMMY – Academy of Television Art & Sciences – College TV Award.

I was the Music Composer and Musical Director for this show and my friend Marco Scorsolini worked with me at the orchestration and as additional Music Composer.

Congratulations to the Executive Producers Emily Freund, Matt Caruso, Natalie Casper and all the people involved in the production.

Daniele is the Composer and Music Director for The 31st EVVY Awards. Daniele was also the Music Producer for the 30th EVVY Awards, on May 2010. This year he is composing and arranging all the music for this fantastic show.

The EVVY Awards is the largest student produced television show in the United States, held at Boston’s historic Cutler-Majestic Theater, it broadcasts live online and throughout Greater Boston.

The show is modeled after The Oscars, The EMMYs, and The MTV Movie Awards and is known throughout the industry and covered by regional and national media.

The show’s Advisor and Executive Producer is Kevin Bright who is the Creator and Executive Producer of NBC’s sitcom “Friends,”.

This show recognizes outstanding work and brings together aspects of the entertainment industry and Emerson College.

The invention for Piano written by Daniele Siliquini in Canon and Invention class with Prof. Alla Cohen was selected one of the best Invention 2011 at Berklee College of Music.

The concert will feature faculty performances of the best pieces written.

The Piece for Violin and Piano that Daniele wrote for Tonal Harmony and Composition course with Prof. Alla Cohen has been
selected for performance on the upcoming concert, “Harmony Too!”

“Harmony Too!” will feature faculty performances of the best pieces written in Tonal Harmony and Composition;

the concert will be held on February  7th at 7 p.m. in room 1A (Lawrence and Alma Berk Recital Hall) – Berklee College of Music – 1140 Boylston St, Boston MA
Faculty performers include Marti Epstein (piano), Arnold Friedman (cello),
Louis Stewart (piano), and Francine Trester, (violin).

My piece “Giochi di note” had been selected to be played and recorded by the fantastic Esterhazy Quartet.
